The last time the two teams met was in last year’s preliminary final.
The sides could not be separated and were locked in a draw after golden goal extra time.
United eventually won an epic penalty shootout 7-6.
Keeper Luke Jennings was the hero of the day saving four penalties and slotted one of his own.
There’s sure to be plenty of passion in the outing with MVR expected to be keen to get one back on United.
Coach Chris Walsh said he was expecting a full strength opposition for the clash.
He said his side had undergone a lot of change since that September 13 game including a new strip.
Not to mention a new look squad with no less than five of last year’s players moving in the off season.
Walsh said the new look side were keen to test themselves against the traditionally strong MVR.
In their round one game last week United were missing several key players but Walsh said they would be back this week.
He said he expects the final third play to improve after last weeks results.
