The school's parliamentary environment ministers, Matilda Lindeman and Angus Collins, encouraged kindergarten to year 6 students to show their dedication to saving the planet by making an A4 or A3 poster to advertise and persuade people to turn off their electronics and lights during Earth Hour on Saturday from 8.30pm until 9.30pm.
Matilda reported it was a successful competition attracting many keen entries, all of which were of a very high standard.
First prize was awarded to Jamison Sawtell with Mirren Campbell snagging second and Amelia Cuckson collecting third prize.
Both environment ministers thanked all who participated and congratulated the lucky winners.
