A student police officer is due to appear in court next month after being charged with a traffic matter.

The alleged incident occurred on McDermott Drive and Victoria Street Goulburn, about 11.15am on February 28.
It's alleged the 40-year-old male student tailgated a private vehicle containing other police students while he was riding his own motorbike, according to Goulburn Post.
The matter was reported to police and the student officer was issued with a future court attendance notice for negligent driving.
He is due to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday 22 April 2015.
