The Council's design concept plans which appear in the Port News (Fri 6/2/15) omit the existing Food For Less Building - whether that is convenient or not I don't know.
Shouldn't any plan to develop this area be based on the total value to the community and therefore encompass the existing Food for Less building which is a public eyesore at present?
I am aware that Woolworths have an existing DA to develop this property in conjunction with the existing carpark, but if the Council are successful in their negotiations with the State Government I believe that the total property area should be looked at in its entirety - not just the carpark.
Woolworths proposal takes into account the whole area and I believe the Council should do the same.
Lastly, if Woolworths existing DA allows access to their loading dock how does the concept plan take into account this issue?
