Instability within the upper ranks of a government put in what is a privileged position by the Australian people has been an unfortunate black mark for both sides of politics in recent years.

All it does is detract focus from what should be the primary objective of our governing leaders and that is to make sound, fair and informed decisions for the betterment of the country and its people.

Regardless of today’s outcome, it is time to get back to real politics, making solid plans for our future and ensuring the decisions made today pave the way for a better Australia.
