Detectives believe Mr Roberts is hiding out in South Kempsey.
A warrant was issued on September 5 for his arrest due to breaking his parole conditions.
The teenager is alleged to have committed another assault in December.
He is described as being about 170 centimetres tall, of medium build and with black hair.
