While completing his TAFE Certificate IV in Digital Media, Mr Lord has also been creating animations for clients and gaining notoriety with local businesses.
He also managed to complete a major project for Quickstaff, an online recruitment service for the local hospitality, tourism and retail sectors.
Eather Recruitment's general manager Ivana Agapiou said Mr Lord was the perfect fit for the Quickstaff project, which required "a creative thinker who could help us design content for our website, radio and television advertising campaigns."
"I met with Levi and gave him our brief and he was able to quickly create our Quickstaff.com.au mascot in no time," she said. "He then animated our mascot, which is now used in all our campaigns."
With an extensive portfolio of designs to draw from, Mr Lord has created a growing online following and increasing number of requests from enthusiasts wanting unique illustrations of their favourite characters.
Digital media teacher Anthony Grigg described Mr Lord's animation skills as nothing short of amazing.
"He has based his skills on Manga (Japanese animation) style and the majority of his animations are made just for the sake of doing it," Mr Grigg said.
"When he was handed an assessment for the animation unit, I told him that he could submit one of his earlier works, but he wanted to design another one to the brief."
