Weatherzone meteorologist Brett Dutschke said temperatures would be in the mid to high 20's with the chance of showers especially on Saturday morning.
"It should clear up by Saturday afternoon with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees, but if there is a shower it will only be a couple of millimetres," he said.
Those conditions should clear by Sunday with a top of 27 degrees expected which would ensure beaches around the region will be the place to be.
"Sunday looks the pick if you're after sunshine and warmth," Mr Dutschke said.
"If you're inland there is the chance of showers and a storm, but the storm should bring less than 10 millimetres of rain and the coast should remain generally dry."
Those conditions were due to a low pressure trough over inland NSW while a high pressure trough remained over much of the coast.
