The Kendall Tennis Club has, for the second consecutive year, won the Australian Open Blitz competition.
Kendall gets the top seeded man or woman to represent the town at the tournament in January.
Last year the club chose men's top seed Rafael Nadal, this year the pick was Serbian Novak Djokovic.
The win has capped off an amazing 24 months for the club that has also seen president Wendy Hudson awarded with the Newcombe Medal for volunteer of the year.
There have also been exciting developments at the new tennis courts in Kendall.
Hudson said the result showed that the small community of Kendall was sport mad.
"Everyone here is just passionate about sport," she said.
"A lot of people signed up for this that don't even play tennis."
She said while the previous two years had been "massive" for the club but the ball had started rolling since 2004.
"There's been a lot going on lately but this has really been gathering momentum since 2004 when we won the Newcombe award for the NSW Country Club of the year.
Tennis Australia's Emily Findlay said it was an amazing achievement for such a small community to win the AOBlitz two years running.
"It's great that they are so tennis crazy," she said.
"It helps having Wendy Hudson there though. She is a great community driver.
"If only every town had a Wendy Hudson, it would be great."
The club has set up an exhibition in the Kew information centre just off the Pacific Highway on Nancy Walton Drive.
The exhibition highlights years of achievements of the Kendall Tennis Club along with signed memorabilia of Djokovic, Nadal and Pat Rafter.
The centre is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
