Ambulance NSW were called to the corner of intersection of Grant and Gordon streets at 11.08am.
Witnesses said two cars collided and were stuck in middle of the junction.
No-one was trapped in either car, but a 42-year-old woman was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital with minor injuries.
A NSW Health spokeswoman confirmed the patient was in a stable condition on Friday afternoon.
