Ryan James Smith, 30, who also resides at Port Macquarie's Park Street, consented to a forensic examination the same afternoon.
On Friday he took police to his property at Pappinbarra.
A crime scene was established and a lengthy search turned up a number of alleged items including prohibited plants.
He was arrested on Saturday outside the courthouse.
On Wednesday the magistrate adjourned Mr Smith's accessory after the fact and cannabis cultivation and distribution charges to January 19.
Mr Smith wore a collared shirt and waved to three of his supporters in the public gallery, including his mother, as he was led to the cells.
