About 75 talented riders rolled up last weekend and despite some minor spills there were plenty of thrills on hand.
HVMCC president Daniel Hargy said the day featured some great action and he looks forward to the club's upcoming events.
"We had an average roll up and the track was in great condition on the weekend," he said. "It was quite hot out on the track and a few riders ended up leaving early because of it, but those who stuck with it ended up prevailing as it was a great day had by all.
"There were some great races and now we look forward to our next big event on November 9 which is the retailers challenge."
The event is sponsored by local business owners with trophies handed out at the end of the day.
Hargy recognised those who had put in big efforts behind the scenes to ensure the day went ahead.
"I'd like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers at the working bee and all of the officials and helpers on the days of the race day," he said. "They never get enough recognition but they all do a great job."
