KewFest is a food, wine, beer and music event set on the practise fairway which is a natural amphitheatre on the golf course.
On Saturday, Thirsty Merc will headline a great lineup of local bands.
Thirsty Merc is the highly-acclaimed Australian rock act responsible for the hit songs Someday, Someday, 20 Good Reasons and In the Summertime.
They will be performing a special acoustic set at KewFest as part of their acoustic tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album.
Thirsty Merc will be joined at KewFest by local favorites Stronghart and Ghost Road.
Stronghart is a young group of lads from Bonny Hills who have mastered classics songs by Bon Jovi, Creedence and Coldplay, while Ghost Road will be pumping out their own style of roots music and wowing audiences with their distinctive and original sound.
Local business Links Estate, the new property development adjacent to the Kew Country Club, is a big supporter of the event.
Papa George's, Bollywood Indian Restaurant, Cassegrain Winery, Black Duck Brewery, Hastings Co-Op and Miss Nellies Caf have all jumped on board and will offer food and drinks at the venue.
The fun and games begin when the gates open at 4.30pm as the Party Professionals get everyone rev.
