The best locations to watch all three legs are dotted around Port Macquarie, with top spots in all three disciplines.
There's only one place to watch the swimmers: Westport Park.
The best time to watch that leg is at the end when the athletes come into the transition area and grab their bikes.
Then it's out onto Buller Street to watch the bike leg, and Local Organising Committee chairman Mike Reid urges caution around the course.
Keep a close eye on your kids while the bikes go past.
"We ask people to stand back. It can get a little hectic," he said.
The corner of Clarence and Horton streets is a good bet, but anywhere along Clarence is good for watching the bikes.
You can also park near Ocean Drive/Jonas Absalom Drive roundabout to watch the competitors on the long stretch up the hill.
"They go pretty slow up there, so you can make eye contact with them," Reid said.
If you can get down to Lake Cathie, the turnaround section at the southern end of the town is a good spot to watch the action from.
Virtually anywhere along the run leg is good.
"You can get close anywhere," Reid said. "The Town Beach area is a good spot."
Of course don't miss out on all the hype of the athletes as they cross the finish line.
Port Macquarie is renowned to have the best atmosphere of finish lines all over the globe.
The first athlete is due over the line about 10.50am.
