Thomas is on a trip around the country playing bowls and raising money for the fight against cancer.
In the process, Thomas aims to bag his own world record.
He wants to play at 700 bowling clubs in the same year.
Thomas is selling shirts to raise money, and so far has raised about $7000 in 10 weeks.
It's a cause close to Thomas' heart. He buried his father Wyneham Thomas on Christmas Eve.
Wyneham died of prostate cancer.
Thomas said he wanted to do something special for his father's memory.
"He got me into bowls in the first place," he said.
He was at Port City Bowling Club and Westport Bowling Club on Thursday. Then it was on to Lake Cathie and Kew.
