The Sydney Morning Herald publication sends out restaurant critics who dine anonymously and submit their reviews along with the votes of the dining public.
A Good Food Guide Chef Hat is not only prestigious it puts Port Macquarie on the map, for the second consecutive year, as a “serious dining destination”, Perri said.
The Stunned Mullet is the only restaurant in Port Macquarie that has achieved this prestigious award.
Since opening the William Street restaurant that overlooks Town Beach nine years ago, Perri and Henry have provided a consistent standard of excellence for their customers.
Their inspired menu highlights regional produce and compliments an international, award winning wine list.
“I thank my team because I couldn’t do it without them,” Perri said.
“This is a great thing for Port Macquarie and an honour for my team.”
Perri said his team is exceptional and because of this, he is able to spend time in the restaurant meeting the needs of customers.
“We have an excellent customer base that supports what we do.”
Restaurant bookings continue to climb with an increase in the number of visitors.
“We keep doing what we do because it’s not only beneficial to Stunned Mullet but to Port Macquarie, too.
