DIVISION one Port Panthers RSL Coach Jodie Burge was as excited as her players after winning a very hard fought finals game against Port Combined Kryptonite.
The game was very close during the entire duration of the match with neither team getting ahead by more than four goals.
The Port Combined team played their hearts out with only six of their players available for the finals game.
The weather conditions played havoc with the girls shooting for goal as the wind was quite gusty at times, making it all the more difficult to score.
The final score was Port Panthers RSL 23 to Port Combined Kryptonite 20.
Port Combined Kyptonite has now finished their season, leaving Port Panthers RSL to meet the undefeated Wauchope Lyrebirds in the grand final game to be held at Macquarie Park at 3pm on Saturday.
With the Saturday juniors drawing to close, Hastings Valley Executive are now in the planning stages for the representative season for 2015.
Players are reminded that their representative nomination forms are to be handed in by this Saturday with squad trials being conducted at Macquarie Park on Sunday September 14.
Best of luck to all teams playing in the grand finals.
