FC entered the match holding faint hopes of playing finals football whilst their competitors knew that regardless of results would be facing a relegation battle at the end of the season.
It was however, the visiting Wingham side that had the better start blowing FC off the pitch in the first 45 minutes.
The first two goals were struck in quick succession around the 20 minute mark when a lucky deflection off FC's keeper Terrance Stafford, rebounded kindly to the Wingham striker and the second thanks to some good build up work down the right and lazy marking allowed Wingham in behind the defensive line.
It took FC up until 10 minutes before half time to get on the scoreboard thanks to a deflected strike from Sam Monoghan.
The second half started with FC firing an excellent strike into the back of the Wingham net courtesy of Nat Fulbrook. However, the scores were only level at 2-all for a matter of minutes as Wingham struck back with their third.
Thankfully for the home supporters that's when FC stepped up a gear striking three more goals to run away with the victory.
It wasn't all smooth sailing though as Wingham had a penalty strike disallowed for encroachment in the area before sending the resulting spot kick over the bar.
FC now moves forward to the last match of the season in which they take on Macleay Valley Rangers at Dangar.
