The bout is scheduled for 11.15pm and you can watch the action on Channel Ten/One HD.
Watts, 26, advanced to the gold medal bout with a victory against Northern Ireland’s Alanna Audley-Murphy in a unanimous decision from all three judges over the 4-round journey.
Watts also knocked down the plucky fighter once during the bout and was always in control.
The gold medal fight tonight Australian time is against India’s 32-year-old Laisham Devi.
Devi weighs in at 60 kg and says she gains her strength and muscle from collecting firewood on her parents’ rural property back home.
Watts is the feelgood story of the games only turning to boxing after injuring her knee playing touch football.
She required a full knee reconstruction in 2010.
She caused a massive upset winning her first bout against the medal favourite Natasha Jones from England.
Glasgow 2014 is the first time that women’s Boxing has included on the sport programme at a Commonwealth Games.
Female athletes are competing in the Flyweight, Lightweight and Middleweight categories.
Medals will be fought for over four rounds of two minutes.
Laurieton is right behind Shelley Watts and tonight she could repay the faith by bringing home a gold.
