The annual Hastings Auto Restorers Society Swap Meet kicks off from 7am.
With 185 sites spread throughout the car park it is a sight to see.
Car clubs from the Hastings will have some of their precious vehicles on show for the Shannons Show n Shine.
The pride and joy of these fans of vintage vehicles will be buffed and polished to ensure they look their best.
Many of the cars have been bought as rusted out bombs and many hours of labour and love have gone in to their restoration.
Fellow do-it-yourselfers will flock to the racecourse to pick up a bargain or find that elusive part they have been looking for.
Goods on offer will range from auto and motorcycle parts to tools, books, toys, tableware, vintage appliances and general bric-a-brac.
Site holders have travelled from as far as Sydney, Grafton and Tamworth to put their goods on sale at the annual Swap Meet. Park your car at the Oxley Highway entry or the Tulloch Road entry and follow the instructions given by Port Macquarie SES volunteers.
Entry is $3 for adults with accompanied children free.
All proceeds from the day support the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Oncology Unit which last year received a little over $6000 to bring the total donation since the event has supported the unit to more than $30,000.
The meet usually attracts more than 2000 people so if you want to catch the best bargains you had better make and early start.
