Vinny Leite, a national junior coach in his homeland, will run the players ragged at Westport High School as the sport continues its rise in the Hastings.
Leite is coming down from the Lismore area, and will be in Port thanks to our association's affiliation with Far North Coast Futsal.
Futsal at Mid North Coast is the Port Macquarie-based organisation.
Leite will also bring some young talent to town to take on Hastings-based players in a couple of exhibition matches.
They are at St Paul's today from 6pm and tomorrow at Westport at the same time.
Futsal at Mid North Coast's Alison Fazzolari encouraged people to get down and have a look at the sport.
She said Leite was the best in the business.
"I've watched him coach. He's great," Fazzolari said.
There are still places left in today and tomorrow's coaching clinics.
Each three-hour session costs $40 for under 12 players and $50 for those under 16.
Meanwhile, Port Macquarie's futsal competition is in full swing.
The comp isn't even halfway through its 16-week season yet, so there is still plenty of time to sign up.
There are men's, women's and mixed divisions. The men is played on Monday nights at St Paul's, while the women's comp is on Wednesday nights at the same venue.
The mixed competition is on Thursday nights at Westport.
