The division has offices on the south coast, the western plains and the Mid-North Coast.
The central region operates out of Wauchope, while the north east region is based at Coffs Harbour. But last month Forestry Corp informed staff of a restructure involving positions being relocated, as well as possible job losses.
A Forestry Corp spokeswoman confirmed yesterday that the restructure is complete.
"The structure is now finalised and the consultation period is over, but there are still lots of variables," she said.
The main variable is whether staff will have to move to continue their employment with Forestry.
However, the spokeswoman said, it is still too early to say how those changes will affect staff in the Wauchope office.
"The key point is we don't know what the changes will look like until they are underway," she said.
"There are less positions overall across the state, unfortunately, but we'll be able to tell you more as we get more clarity around the changes."
Structure charts were provided to employees last week, according to one Port Macquarie-based worker who did not wish to be named.
The staff member praised the professionalism of the process, which he said was the fifth of its kind during his employment.
"For me, this has been the best conducted restructure I've ever been involved with," he said.
Forestry Corp has previously said the changes will ensure a reduction in costs, greater efficiency and that the company will remain competitive in the timber industry.
The Forestry and Furnishing Products division of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union was asked for comment.
