A twenty20 womens competition is being organised for Woods Street on Tuesday nights, and the Hastings District Womens Cricket Association want more players to get involved.
There will be a $30 registration fee and no game fees each week.
There is another registration day set down for Tuesday at Woods Street, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
The competition will commence on January 7, 2014.
All equipment and team shirts will be provided.
Barbecue facilities and drinks will be available at the grounds.
Each game will last about one and a half hours, and a softer ball will suit newer players.
