Badenoch took 5-36 from his 10 overs to knock Macleay over for 107 from 26.3 overs.
Macleay fell well short of Hastings' 232 from 47.3 overs.
Badenoch had stumps flying everywhere on a number of occasions. He got the Hastings on the right track with the first ball of the innings.
"The bloke didn't even move the bat and his stumps were gone," team manager Nathan Kerr said.
It wasn't his quickest spell, but Badenoch's immaculate line and length paid dividends on a sticky Oxley Oval deck.
Earlier in the day the Hastings batsmen showed there was still value for shots.
The outfield was still pretty quick, but opening bat Chris Cole chose to not bring the turf into the equation when he belted two sixes at the top of the innings.
He didn't last much longer before skying a ball and getting caught.
Kerr compiled a good 49, only to edge one to gully. That was the best score of the morning for Hastings.
Hastings captain Andrew Glover made 34 and Daniel Minns and Anthony Hyde chipped in with a couple of valuable 20s down the order.
"It was a pretty good batting performance," Kerr said.
Hastings now has a bye before taking on Manning on November 24 at Johnny Martin Oval, Taree.
The team will welcome back a couple of batsmen in Michael Pelley and Kyle Bray into the side.
Kerr predicted Daniel Stone would also slot in.
Stone can hit a ball but is also capable of getting through a few overs of off-spin.
