THREE children, including a baby, were travelling without seatbelts in the back of a car being driven by their drunk mother west of Port Macquarie last night.
Police said the woman, 36, recorded a high proscribed concentration of alcohol after she was pulled over in Allen Road about 10pm.
An 18-month-old, one-year-old, and a six-year-old were all in the back seat of the Nissan Pulsar.
None was wearing a seatbelt.
Officers said they first saw the car, with no rear lights, being driven erratically in High Street.
Further police checks revealed the women’s licence had been disqualified for a decade, ending in October this year.
The three children were escorted home by police.
A woman was expected to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court today charged with driving while disqualified and two counts of driving with children unrestrained.
