When Mr Besseling was our State MP he was very visible on the streets, at events and among the many sporting and community groups.
Both he and his successor, Leslie Williams, share a very similar character trait of being equally as visible after their election victory as they were prior to it.
But by far the best result is the backing of Nats stalwart, Jim Pearson, who has shown our future should be about the “best people to lead”, regardless of political persuasion.
