EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a fatal accident north of Port Macquarie this morning.
The single-car accident in Blackmans Point Road near the Pacific Highway, about 20km north of Port, took place about 9.30am.
A police spokesman said the car left the road and hit a tree.
Blackmans Point Road is expected to be closed for at least an hour while the crash investigation unit looks into the cause of the accident.
Police, ambulance, Sate Emergency Service and Rural Fire Service crews are at the scene.
