PORT Macquarie NSW Fire and Rescue crews have been out and about today.
At 11am the hazmat team was called to Hudson Avenue to the scene of a significant diesel spill.
A spokesman was unsure how the spill occurred but said it stretched for about 100m in length and 10m in width.
The spill was eventually contained and absorbed.
Emergency services were also called to Bellangry Road to a motor vehicle accident at about 3.45pm.
A car and a truck carrying gas cylinders were involved in a minor collision.
No one was hurt in the incident, however, the car involved did need to be towed from the scene.
