THE victim of Wednesday's incident on Hill Street has been formally identified.
Annalise Eyles, 48, died after it is suspected she was hit by a vehicle that failed to stop at the scene.
A 53-year-old Hill Street resident has been arrested and charged in relation to the accident.
The driver was released on conditional bail to reappear in Port Macquarie Local Court on July 16.
