KINETICS launched a late charge to run down Never Doubt Me by a length and win the Wauchope Cup yesterday.
Jockey Casey Stanley was a late call-up to ride the Graham Payne-trained Kinetics, but the Casino hoop did the trainer proud with a good win.
Neil Godbolt’s Never Doubt Me came home four-and-a-half lengths in front of third-placed Nevzlin, trained by Wayne Wilkes.
See Wednesday’s Port News for more on Kinetics’ win.
