Port Macquarie's Settlement Point ferry is still out of action.
The ferrymen, operators of the service, tweeted about 2.30pm Wednesday that a mechanical breakdown had taken the ferry out of service.
Unfortunately that is still the case.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council staff are working on the problem now, the operators have told the Port News.

The Hibbard ferry - which connects "mainland" Port Macquarie with the North Shore - is operational.
Both ferries were battered by the rampaging Hastings River over the weekend as marker buoys and general flood debris affected running lines.
