Council clean up the mess
PORT Macquarie Hastings Council continues to clean up the area after the severe storms swept through the town earlier this week.
Council also targeted a list of roads that were damaged by the bombarding rain.
On the repair list is Ocean Drive, Lake Road, Hastings River Drive, Pacific Drive, Houston Mitchell Drive, Kew Road/Bold Street at Laurieton and Wauchope's Bago Road and High Street.
Clean up will continue into the week and already a significant amount of debris has been removed from the rural road network.
