Club after more young talent

PORT Macquarie Bodyboarding Association urges anyone who wants to get involved in the sport to head to the club’s sign-on day and barbecue on Sunday.

The club wants more families and girls involved in 2013, after another successful year in 2012.

The Breakwall is the venue for the sign-on day and barbie, which will run from 10am to 2pm.

The club has a new president this year, with Kylee Kay taking over the reins from Jim Rutherford.

Kay said she was excited about the year ahead.

“We have some pretty talented bodyboarders,” she said. “And a lot of young guys coming through.”

For more information about the club, or the sign on day, ring Kylee Kay on 0458 480 630.
