Officers investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Wauchope on December 30, 2012, have this week arrested a man and teenager allegedly involved in the robbery.
About 2.20pm on Tuesday (15 January 2013), officers arrested a 17-year-old male at an address in West Kempsey.
He was charged with robbery in company and larceny and refused bail to reappear in Kempsey Children’s Court on February 27, 2013.
Police then arrested an 18-year-old East Kempsey man yesterday who was later charged with robbery in company and being carried in conveyance.
He was refused bail to appear in Macksville Local Court today.
Meanwhile, detectives investigating a separate robbery of a food outlet in Kempsey on May 8, 2012, arrested a 17-year-old Moree youth yesterday (Wednesday 16 January 2013).
He was charged with robbery in company and robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
The youth was bail refused to appear in Kempsey Children’s Court on February 27.
