Ambulance officers checked the driver at the scene and gave him the all clear.
The car was travelling west on Ocean Drive in Port Macquarie about 4.20pm when it veered off the road and flipped on an embankment.
The 19-year-old was driving home from work when the accident happened.
Police said the driver was very lucky.
