Macca knocked off Port City Leagues Magpies at Woods St, while the Pirates beat Camden Haven in Laurieton.
Macquarie passed Magpies’ total of 9-158 with five wickets in hand and four overs to spare.
Sam Carlon was the best, with 54. Ricky Arnell (36) and captain Tyson Schmidt (26) also had starts.
Earlier, Magpies captain Jade Zaicew led the way with the bat. He hit seven fours and two sixes in a 54-run stay at the crease. He was eventually bowled by Josh Hyde.
Zaicew and Sean Staniforth (14) got the innings off to a great start, putting on 57 for the first wicket. He had help from Kevin Pascoe (25) and Phil McVicar (20).
The Macquarie bowlers shared the wickets around. Ethan Hyde, Josh Hyde and Tyson Schmidt took two each, while opening bowler Liam Coelho snared one.
Fifty-seven was also Macquarie first-wicket partnership. Arnell and Carlon shared those runs, and Arnell was the first wicket to go. Macquarie found itself 2-110 and 3-112. Quick wickets also fell at 127 and 129, but the batsmen cruised from there on to take the game.
It was always going to be tough for Camden Haven to score the required 190 against Port Panthers Pirates, but they gave it a red-hot crack. They eventually fell 50 short at Inmon Fields.
Wauchope RSL beat Bonny Hills by eight wickets at Sancrox Reserve.
