Strike Force Mehi 2 was established in August to investigate a criminal syndicate involved in at least four armed robberies on the Mid North Coast.
The four robberies were at the Post Office and general store at Kundabung, the Coastline Credit Union in West Kempsey, the Holiday Coast Credit Union at Wauchope and a licensed premise in Mylestrom.
Police had attempted to intercept two stolen vehicles last month which were linked to the robbery in Wauchope, but were unsuccessful at the time.
Police believe two men have remained in hiding since then.
The man, 26, was arrested about 7.30am yesterday in a planned operation at a home in Leith St, West Kempsey.
He was taken to Kempsey Police Station and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and a revocation of a parole warrant.
He was refused bail and was to appear in Kempsey Local Court.
Three people have now been charged in relation to the robberies.
However, Police say investigations are continuing and anticipate more arrests will be made.
Also under investigation was a conspiracy to rob a licensed premise at Black Head which was intercepted by police on Sunday, November 18 after a 28-year-old woman was arrested.
