Have your say on council's future at workshops this week

IT'S not too late to register for a workshop to have an input into shaping the future.

A series of workshops this week spanning Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton is one way for residents to share their thoughts about what should be on the newly-elected Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's horizon.

Participants must be on the register to participate.

To get involved you can register for the community workshops by clicking here, complete the community satisfaction survey or contribute to the ideas page.

Mayor Peter Besseling encourages the community to get on board with the consultation process.

People's views will feed into the development of the council's delivery program between 2013 and 2017.

The four-year delivery program details the council's priorities as part of an integrated suite of planning documents. For those interested, the workshops happen on the following days
