A parking trial will start before Christmas.
A trial of two-hour parking will be introduced in some areas of Port Macquarie's CBD in time for Christmas.
It comes after businesses in town expressed concerns about one-hour time limits since the introduction of parking sensors.
Councillors made the decision at Wednesday night's council meeting.
