HASTINGS League outfit Port Macquarie Boardriders will kickstart its season tomorrow.
The Boardies have scheduled their first training session at Oxley Beach from 6pm.
“It’s only a light run followed by a barbecue,” club president Craig Taylor said.
“Training will continue every Tuesday and Thursday at Oxley Beach/Oval in January.
“Coach Luke Gilchrist is hoping we can get the jump on a few teams with fitness by starting early.
“All current and new players need to attend, but if anyone is unable to make it, they can contact Cyril Marchant on 0403 192 521.
“Also, we’d welcome any person who would like to be involved with the Boardies.”
