The team from the Port Macquarie Surf Club were very successful, however, the official results are not yet available.

The results from the club surf race are: A grade surf race: Norm Kobelke (1) Vicki Polverino (2) Larry Brook (3), B grade surf race: Donna Cross (1) Scott Oxenford (2) Jenny Wookey (3), B grade board race: Tony Wright (1), Scott Oxenford (2) Larry Brook (3).

The Macksville Scotts Head carnival is this weekend with the master expected to race on Saturday, followed by the opens on Sunday.

Entries for the carnival close at 11.30am Saturday with races due to start at midday.

Open competitors need to report by 9am Sunday and boat competitors by 8.30am.

Any Port Macquarie Surf Club competitors wishing to have their gear taken for them, please have it to the club by 9am tomorrow.

The annual Australian Surf Life Saving Door Knock Appeal is on the weekend of November 24 and 25. All members and supporters are urged to participate in the national event.

There is a committee management meeting set down for 7pm on Monday at the surf Club. All committee members are invited to attend.

Bronze medallion instructor Rob Chappel has bronze squad training on Saturdays from 8.30am to 10.30am and on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Port Macquarie Surf Club.

Wauchope-Bonny Hills SLSC

TRAINING courses will be held for level one officials at the Tacking Point Surf Club on December 15 and 16.

The surf club also needs nominations by November 16 for the National Leadership course at Lake Ainsworth. Anyone interested please call Manfred on 6585 5969.

There have been plenty of members showing up for boat training and beach sprint training. Shortly, the club will be running a training school for board and ski users.

Tacking Point SLSC

GOOD luck to the Tacking Point competitors who are heading to the carnival at Macksville-Scotts Head Surf Club this weekend. The boat crews are fired up for a big win when they go head to head on Sunday.
