PORT Macquarie City Bowling Club’s Rebekah Ramsay will take to the greens today for New South Wales at the 2009 Australian Junior Championships at Halekulani.
The four-day carnival, which pits every state and territory against each other, involves teams of five boys and five girls, playing singles, pairs, triples and fours.
Ramsay, who recently won the 2009 Under 18 Girls Singles State Championship at Windang, gained a berth in the triples and fours squads.
In the triples format, the 15-year-old meets Northern Territory today, South Australia and ACT tomorrow and the finals on Wednesday.
Ramsay also faces fours’ opponents Northern Territory today, South Australia tomorrow and ACT on Wednesday.
The championships wrap up on Thursday.
