Rain KOs cricket

08 Feb, 2010 03:00 AM
GREY skies and sodden wickets put paid to hearing the sound of leather on willow over the weekend.

The Hastings River District Cricket competition’s A grade matches – between Macquarie Hotel and Wauchope RSL at Oxley Oval and the Port Panthers Pirates clash against Camden Haven at Laurieton – were rained out.

The matches were officially drawn and the points shared.

Round 13 of the A grade season will begin on Saturday.

Port Panthers Pirates will face Macquarie Hotel, Camden Haven tackles Port City Leagues and Wauchope has the bye.
