PORT Macquarie FC’s Football Mid-North Coast Premier League season ended at the hands of arch rivals Macleay Valley Rangers on Saturday.

In the preliminary final at Dangar Street, Kempsey, the hosts pipped Port FC 2-1.

The Rangers now tackle the Taree Wildcats in the decider at Jack Neal Oval this weekend.

The local area, however, will still boast a presence on the Premier League grand final stage.

Port United’s reserve grade side eliminated the Great Lakes Vikings 1-0 in golden goal extra-time.

United meets Old Bar Barbarians in the season finale.
