CONSTABLE Printing captured the 2009-10 Hastings River District Women’s Cricket Association crown in a thriller at Wayne Richards Park, Port Macquarie, on Friday night.

Bennett’s opted to bat first and posted 7-70 from their allotted 15 overs.
Megan Velardi and Maree Fens were the pick of the top order, scoring 13 and 10 runs respectively.
Kate Jackson collected 2-4 and Erin Clarke snared 2-17.
Constable’s started their chase poorly, losing Jacalyn Kennedy without a run on the board.
But, Lauren Dickinson (14) and Melissa Norup, who averaged 92 with the bat in 2009-10, steadied the ship.
Norup remained unbeaten on 20, and gained strong support from Jackson and Gabrielle Easey.
Kim Broderick sent down three overs, conceding a measly four.
