Drove on it at 11.30 this morning. If you obey the 90kmh speed limit, it is now only a 4 minute run from the Hospital turn off to the Highway.

The Road itself was brilliant, but why have they used cheesecutters as run off protection. These are a known Hazard for Motorcyclists and we paid for the it too!

Nice peace of road but how many speeding drivers did I see including a local taxi. The police will have the work cut out patroling this strecth when the car hoons realize what a perfect road it is for drag racing. And yes Leslie WELL DONE another thing you can take credit for

Well done Leslie? Ms Williams had nothing at all to do with this work. You should be congratulating a lot of others who would have received no mention in today's opening ceremony. Rob Oakeshott, Peter Besseling, the members of the former Labor government who planned and funded this work,Wayne Richards and John Tingle and many others. Leslie Williams showed up when the work was all but finished and has now claimed all the credit. Leslie, we don't all fall for your propaganda. Many of us actually have brains and good memories. the lies won't work.

It didn't take long for the police to find somewhere to hide the gold-coloured highway patrol car and set up a radar. I guess the state government need to recoup some of the cost of the new work!

Yes, thankyou Leslie, it is so amazing how much work you have done for Port Macquarie in less than 12 months. You even got the Oxley Highway built under budget.
