IF you have a love of reading then the Port Macquarie Library is the place to be on Valentine’s Day.
Two events will be hosted tomorrow with both featuring morning tea celebrations.
At 10am the National Year of Reading will be discussed followed by the launch of a brand new romance and suspense tome at noon.
Nudging Cupid is the second novel of Johns River author Kerri Williams.
“Reading books is great escapism and it’s no expensive,” Mrs Williams said. "In fact, while sales overall in the publishing industry are down, the romance genre continues to soar in both traditional print and e-books.”
The author will speak about her love of writing which began as a teenager and her goal to incorporate “everything beautiful” about the Hastings into her books.
Copies of Nudging Cupid will be available to be signed by the author.
