COULD this be the new face of Taubmans? Maybe.
Painters across the nation are being called for by the paint company to be Taubmans Tom, the new face of the company’s commercials.
James Meani said he would be willing to give it a go “for a bit of a laugh”.
“I really enjoy painting,” the 22-year-old said.
“And I am going to enjoy the boys at work giving me a hard time about it, too.”
If James, or any other painter between the ages of 18 and 26 in the Hastings, won the nationwide search he can pretty much expect to become a household name overnight.
Media star Tom Williams, a chippie by trade and living proof that tradesmen make great stars; will be helping Taubmans cast its new apprentice painter to star in its TV commercial.
