We are pleased to announce that Round 2 of the AMAC-Australian Martial Arts Championships – Mid North Coast Division will take place on Sunday, 8 August 2010 at Melville High School, Nicholson St, South Kempsey.
This is a Multi-Styles Tournament. Athletes from Kung Fu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kempo, Kendo, Hapkido and many other Styles will compete on the day. Athletes from as young as 5 years, to our oldest Athlete aged 56 will compete.
Divisions will include Non Contact and Contact Points Sparring, Tap Contact Freestyle Sparring, Sumo, Sword Combat, Showmanship, Weapons and, of course Full Contact Sparring.
The Winners from each Round, and each respective State and Regional Finals, qualify to compete at The Australian Titles. The Australian Titles take place over 2 days on the 20th and 21st of November 2010 due to the large number of Athletes competing to become The Australian Champion in their respective Division. In 2009 over 200 Athletes competed at The Australian Titles in 60 Divisions.
